This is one of of my favorites from this year.

Emily, owner of Silverbird Photography got in touch with and idea to have something colourful, energetic and incorporating some kind of Memphis Pattern design for the background.

I nothing better than getting stuck into a good pattern design, so I set about making something to fit Emily's brief. 

Her previous logo had been a hand-drawn, traditional affair, and we both really wanted to mix it up with something bold and bright.

I am a big fan of COLOURS and BOLD, but keeping it simple.

Silverbird Memphis Pattern

I have to admit, I didn't know what this type of pattern was called before Emily suggested the idea. I love it, the random positioning and mixture of shapes gives it great energy.
