The Labour Election Gala Dinner was the Party's biggest fundraising event before the start of the election.

The dinner was held at the Roundhouse, Camden in July 2014, hosted by Stephen Fry. Guests included Sir Patrick Stuart,  Janet Street-Porter, Eddie Izzard, Grayson Perry and Kathy Lette. The live auction featured lots from artists Antony Gormley, Anish Kapoor and Grayson Perry featuring a combined reserve price of £140,000.

The brief called for a break for the normal Party brand. It was based around the theme of an 'explosion of colour'. The roundel design mirrors the map plan of the Roundhouse and this was used as a mask over a fine art photograph of ink and powders.

Final pieces for the event included: invite, map, aution booklet, iPad graphics and table numbers.
